Equities First is a global institutional investment firm, managing over $1 billion of proprietary capital in public equity portfolio. Equities First builds its public equity portfolio by providing progressive capital (financing) to hundreds of corporations, investors and long-term shareholders.
Clients such as investors and shareholders can access asset-financing with competitive terms including receiving non-recourse capital at competitive terms in exchange for asset collateral.
Equities First was founded by American financier and entrepreneur Alexander Christy Jr in 2002. Prior to founding Equities First, Alexander Christy Jr specialized in mortgage lending at Diversified Financial Group and loan origination at Fidelity Investments.
CEO Asia Gordon Crosbie-Walsh
Gordon Crosbie-Walsh is tasked with managing Equities First’s operations in Asia and business development across Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand, South Korea and China.
Gordon has more than 30 years of financial services experience, including chartered accounting, equity research, equity sales and investment banking. He had held several senior leadership roles in leading financial institutions at CM Financial, Jefferies Asia, JP Morgan, Deutsche Bank and Salomon Smith Barney.
