Aberdeen Standard Investments (ASI), the UK global asset manager with more than $562 billion AUM (Assets under Management), has appointed René Buehlmann as the new Asia-Pacific CEO, effective on the 1st of March 2021. René Buehlmann succeeds Hugh Young, who will take on his new role as Aberdeen Standard Investments Chairman of Asia.

Based in Singapore, he will join the Executive Leadership Team and report to Stephen Bird, CEO of Standard Life Aberdeen.
