Hong Kong Central Bank HKMA Encourages 165 Banks to Allow Only Vaccinated Staffs to Offices & Branches, 2 Weeks to Notify Actions

Hong Kong central bank Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) has informed and encouraged 165 banks in Hong Kong to allow only vaccinated staffs to offices and branches, and providing a 2 weeks period to banks to reply to HKMA if they will enforce the actions. On 16th February 2022 (Wednesday), Hong Kong government offices and financial regulators including HKMA, the Insurance Authority and the Mandatory Provident Schemes Authority had implemented the vaccine requirement to enter into offices.
