UBS Sells $7 Billion US Alternative Investment Manager & Feeder Fund Platform AlphaKeys Funds to iCapital

UBS has sold UBS Fund Advisor LLC (United States Alternative Investment Manager & Feeder Fund Platform AlphaKeys Funds) with $7 billion client assets to iCapital, a global fintech company focused on building a global alternative investment marketplace. In 2018, UBS had became an investor in iCapital, and entered into a strategic relationship with the firm to structure new feeder funds for UBS. With the acquisition, iCapital will assume the management and operation of the platform, which includes private equity, hedge fund and real estate feeder funds. UBS Financial Advisors will continue to serve their high and ultra-high net worth clients that hold feeder funds as they always have, providing advice and solutions to help meet their unique needs and financial goals.
