Billionaire & founder legendary hedge fund Tiger Management Julian Robertson has died at the age of 90 in his home in New York (United States, 25 June 1932 – 23 Aug 2022). Julian Robertson had co-founded Tiger Management in 1980, growing the hedge fund to around $22 billion in the late 1990s and average more than 32% per year for 20 years. In 2000, Tiger Management closed the fund and returned capital to investors. Tiger Management hedge fund, or popularly called “Tiger Funds” was one of the world’s top hedge funds in the 1990s and nurtured some of the top fund managers today including Ole Andreas Halvorsen at Viking Global Investors, and the now infamous Bill Hwang of Archegos family office. Julian Robertson is an American, and has an estimated net worth of around $4.5 to $5 billion.
