HSBC CEO Noel Quinn & HSBC managers had received a lawsuit of pressuring bank staff to disburse $49 million (£40 million) of corporate loan & $12 million (£10 million) of personal loan to a UK real estate company (Mar City) owned by his friends (Husband & wife, Tony & Maggie Ryan) where his daughter was working in, encouraging Tony & Maggie Ryan to accept the loans and ultimately pushing the company into bankruptcy in 2016 to take control of company. The UK real estate company Mar City was listed on London AIM, for small and medium size growth companies, but fell into administration in 2016. This is the 2nd time Tony & Maggie Ryan had filed the lawsuit. The 1st lawsuit filed was dismissed, but Tony & Maggie Ryan won the appeal as the Judge (Nigel Gerald) should had recused himself, as the Judge and his wife had received a HSBC loan for their yoga studio. HSBC CEO Noel Quinn was appointed HSBC Group Chief Executive in March 2020. From 2011 to 2015, Noel Quinn was the Regional Head of Commercial Banking for Asia-Pacific. In 2015 December, Noel Quinn was appointed Chief Executive, Global Commercial Banking.

It develops, trades, and sells flats, houses, and retail units, as well as provides related consultancy services. It works in partnership with Housing Associations and the Homes and Communities Agency to provide affordable homes.
HSBC CEO Noel Quinn

Noel Quinn was appointed Group Chief Executive in March 2020, having previously served as interim Group Chief Executive from August 2019. Mr Quinn has been with HSBC – or its constituent companies – since 1987, when he joined Forward Trust Group, a subsidiary of Midland Bank (now HSBC UK). He led HSBC’s acquisitions of Swan National Motor Finance and Eversholt Leasing Ltd, becoming General Manager of each business in turn. He subsequently served as Head of Specialised and Equity Finance at HSBC; Group Director of Strategy & Development at HSBC Insurance Services North America; Head of Commercial Finance Europe; and Head of Commercial Banking UK. From 2011 to 2015, he was the Regional Head of Commercial Banking for Asia-Pacific, based in Hong Kong. Mr Quinn was appointed Chief Executive, Global Commercial Banking in December 2015. He became a Group Managing Director in September 2016. Mr Quinn chairs the Financial Services Taskforce of The Sustainable Markets Initiative and is a Principal Member of the Glasgow Financial Alliance for Net Zero, which commits financial institutions worldwide to align their lending and investment portfolios with net zero emissions by 2050. He is also a member of the WEF International Business Council. Mr Quinn qualified as an accountant in 1987.
