Hong Kong multi-family office Rockpool Capital has hired private banking leader Nick Chan as Head of Multi-Family Office Services. Nick Chan has more than 25 years of experience including at Goldman Sachs (9 years), Morgan Stanley (14 years, Co-head of Sales & Singapore CEO) and RBC Wealth Management (Head of Sales Asia). Rockpool Capital: “Nick’s appointment coincides with a raft of fresh support for the family office industry from the Hong Kong government, which last month announced plans for a new Capital Investment Entrant Scheme and tax concessions as well as initiatives related to philanthropy, art, and next-generation talent development for industry practitioners and next- generation wealth owners. The measures are aimed at boosting Hong Kong’s role as a hub for global family offices.”
