A United States judge has dismissed Guzel Ganieva (ex-girlfriend of Leon Black) rape defamation lawsuit against Apollo Global Management co-founder & billionaire Leon Black ($10 billion fortune). In the ruling, Guzel Ganieva is unable to pursue her claims due to a $9.5 million non-disclosure agreement signed after the end of their 6-years relationship in 2014. Leon Black had denied raping or behaving inappropriately with Guzel Ganieva (former Russian model) in 2021. Apollo Global Management is one of the top private equity firm in the world with $598 billion AUM (Assets under Management), founded in 1990 by Leon Black, Marc Rowan and Josh Harris. Leon Black was Chairman and CEO of Apollo Global Management until 2021. The case is Ganieva v. Black, New York State Supreme Court, New York County, No. 155262/2021.

Apollo Co-Founder Leon Black
Leon Black is Chairman and CEO of Apollo Global Management and a Managing Partner of Apollo Management until 2021, which he founded in 1990 to manage investment capital on behalf of a group of institutional investors, focusing on corporate restructuring, leveraged buyouts, and taking minority positions in growth-oriented companies.
From 1977 to 1990, Mr. Black worked at Drexel Burnham Lambert, where he served as Managing Director, head of the Mergers & Acquisitions Group and co-head of the Corporate Finance Department. He serves on the boards of directors of Apollo Global Management, LLC, The New York City Partnership and the general partner of AP Alternative Assets. Mr. Black is Chairman of The Museum of Modern Art, a trustee of Mt. Sinai Hospital, and The Asia Society. He is also a member of The Council on Foreign Relations. He is a Founder and Director of the Melanoma Research Alliance. Mr. Black is also a member of the Board of Faster Cures and the Port Authority Task Force. He graduated summa cum laude from Dartmouth College in 1973 with a major in Philosophy and History and received an MBA from Harvard Business School in 1975.
