BNY Mellon has appointed Head of Treasury Services Winnie Chen as CEO Singapore, succeeding 26-year BNY Mellon veteran Francis Braeckevelt who is appointed as BNY Mellon Head of Operations International. BNY Mellon: “Winnie will be responsible for driving growth priorities in Singapore, while ensuring the firm’s governance and control structures are aligned with regulatory expectations. Winnie takes on this role in addition to her responsibilities as Asia Pacific Head of Treasury Services. She replaces Francis Braeckevelt, who will focus on his expanded role leading International Operations, including Latin America. With over 20 years of experience working in the United States, Greater China and Singapore, Winnie brings an international perspective to her newly expanded role. She also has experience working across a number of areas including credit administration, sales, treasury services, and transaction banking.” Winnie Chen had held numerous senior leadership roles in leading financial institutions including at UOB (Group Head of Financial Institutions Sales, Group Transaction Banking), ANZ (Head of Financial Institutions for North Asia, Global Transaction Banking), Bank of America Merrill Lynch (Head of Banks and Public Sector Sales for Global Transaction Banking Hong Kong), and JP Morgan (Regional Head of Cash Product Sales Specialist for Financial Institutions, Treasury Services APAC).
