Barclays Private Bank Appoints Tom Road as Deputy Head of Singapore & Wengmun Loh as Head of Dealing & Derivatives Singapore, Both relocate from London to Singapore

Barclays Private Bank has announced the appointment of Tom Road as Deputy Head of Singapore and Wengmun Loh as Head of Dealing & Derivatives, with both Tom Road and Wengmun Loh relocating from London to Singapore in their new roles. Tom Road as Barclays Private Bank Deputy Head of Singapore will focus on UHNWs (Ultra high net worth) and Global Family Offices, and reports to Evonne Tan (Head of Barclays Private Bank Singapore). Tom Road had been with Barclays for 13 years (joined 2010), covering UHNWs & Global Family Offices. Prior to Barclays, Tom Road was a senior lawyer with Linklaters (6 years), specialising in M&A (Mergers & Acquisition) for Real Estate clients, ranging from sovereign wealth funds and listed property companies to private investors. Wengmun Loh as Barclays Private Bank Singapore Head of Dealing & Derivatives reports to Ken Sze (Head of Investments Asia) and Aurelien Callegari (Global Co-Head of Capital Markets & Head of Structured Products). Wengmun Loh has more than 30 years of trading experience (derivatives, foreign exchange, equities, and fixed income), having worked on the trading desks of HSBC, Société Générale, and Bloomberg. Wengmun Loh had been with Barclays for 15 years (joined 2008) and was recently Head of UK Direct Access for Barclays Private Bank London, and previously was Head of Dealing, Barclays Wealth, Asia (Dealing & sales trading desks in Singapore, Hong Kong & Mumbai).
