UBS Court Appeal Against European Commission $186 Million Fine in 2021 for European Government Bond Trading Cartel Fine, UBS Presented Fine Calculation at $89 Million

UBS is currently undergoing the court appeal against European Commission fine of $186 million (EUR 172.4 million) in 2021 for European government bond trading cartel, with UBS presenting the fine calculation should be at $89 million. The UBS European government bond trading cartel took place between 2007 to 2011. The final court ruling is expected to be announced in the next few months. The court case is T-441/21 UBS Group and UBS v Commission.
