Franklin Templeton with $1.4 trillion AUM (Assets under Management) has launched the Franklin K2 Electron Global UCITS Fund in Singapore, investing in companies & technologies associated with energy transition and absolute return strategy by investing in equity & related securities in infrastructure & global utility sectors. Franklin Templeton: “The Franklin K2 Electron Global UCITS Fund (“Fund”) seeks to achieve an absolute return by investing in equity and equity-related securities of companies in infrastructure and global utility sectors. This includes companies located in North America, Europe, Asia-Pacific and to a lesser extent, Latin America (including emerging markets). The Fund may take long and/or synthetic short positions in relation to these equity securities.” The UCITS Fund is a liquid alternatives strategy managed by K2 Advisors, and sub-advised by Electron Capital Partners LLC, a New York-based investment advisor. The investment team has close 20 years of investing in the sectors and companies associated with the energy transition K2 Advisors is one of the specialist investment managers of Franklin Templeton, with around $10.7 billion AUM.

The Franklin K2 Electron Global UCITS Fund (“Fund”) seeks to achieve an absolute return by investing in equity and equity-related securities of companies in infrastructure and global utility sectors.
