China Top Legal Authorities Classify Providing False Carbon Emissions Data as Criminal Law Violations & Can Face 10 Years in Jail Sentence

China top legal authorities have classified providing false carbon emissions data as criminal law violations & offenders can face 10 years in jail sentence. The legal interpretations were issued by China Supreme People’s Court and Supreme Peop’es Procuratorate. Individuals who provide false carbon emissions data, including testing, compiling or verifying reports, or providing others with false report, will be personally liable under criminal law.
