BNP Paribas Wealth Management has hired Standard Chartered Bank Taiwan Head of Consumer, Private & Business Banking Kate Lin as BNP Paribas Wealth Management Head of Wealth Management Taiwan, succeeding Tina Hsieh who will retire at the end of October 2023. Kate Lin has more than 25 years of financial industry experience, joining from Standard Chartered Bank Taiwan (Head of Consumer, Private & Business Banking) after 7 years, and prior was with Citibank where she started her career and last held the role of Taiwan Sales & Distribution Director. Kate Lin reports to Arnaud Tellier (BNP Paribas Wealth Management Asia CEO) and functionally to Manon Breuvart (BNP Paribas Taiwan CEO). More info below:

4th October 2023 – BNP Paribas Wealth Management is pleased to announce the appointment of Kate Lin as Head of Wealth Management Taiwan, effective 4 October 2023. Kate will lead the WM Taiwan onshore teams to drive the Bank’s growth ambitions and continue to increase the market share in line with the Bank’s global strategy and model. With over 25 years of experience in the banking industry, Kate has a proven track record with international banks in Taiwan and has demonstrated exceptional performance through innovation, teamwork, and a client-centric approach. She served as Taiwan Head of Consumer, Private & Business Banking at Standard Chartered Bank Taiwan for 7 years, where she led the bank’s key growth business. Prior to that, Kate was Taiwan Sales & Distribution Director at Citibank, where she began her career.
