Mizuho Bank has hired UBS Singapore COO Josephine Lok as Mizuho Bank Singapore CEO. Josephine Lok has more than 20 years of experience including at UBS (Singapore COO), Credit Suisse (Strategic Acquisition & Business Development) & leading consulting firm Accenture. Josephine Lok reports to Koichi Zaiki (Mizuho Bank Managing Executive Officer & CEO APAC). Mizuho Bank: “As the new CEO, Josephine will oversee the Singapore office with a total staff strength of over 1,000 persons. She will drive the bank’s strategic vision, spearheading growth initiatives, fostering innovation, and ensuring operational excellence in Singapore. As a highly respected leader in the financial industry, Josephine brings a strong understanding of the banking landscape and keen insight into fostering operational efficiency and client-focused strategies. She has previously served as the Singapore COO at UBS where she played a key role in steering the organization through critical operational strategies and advancement. Prior to UBS, she held leadership positions in Credit Suisse, overseeing functions such as strategic acquisition and business development.
