Red Bull heir & billionaire Mark Mateschitz (Age 31) with $34 billion fortune has received $615 million in shareholder payout. Mark Mateschitz inherited the fortune from his father Austria billionaire & Red Bull (energy drink) co-founder with 49% ownership Dietrich Mateschitz, who died at the age of 78 (1944 – 2022, 22/10/22) with ownership in Formula One Red Bull Racing, and football clubs Salzburg (Austria) & Leipzig (Germany). While traveling in Thailand in the 1980s, Dietrich Mateschitz discovered the Thai energy drink (sweetened, non-carbonated) developed by Thailand Chaleo Yoovidhya. In 1984, he incorporated Red Bull Gmbh and launched Red Bull in 1987 in Austria. Today, Chaleo Yoovidhya family owns 51% of Red Bull Gmbh (Chaleo Yoovidhya passed away in 2012 at the age of 88, 1923 – 2012), with Dietrich Mateschitz (estate) owning 49% of Red Bull Gmbh. Dietrich Mateschitz is also Austria richest man. Austria (Europe) has a GDP of $477 billion and 8.9 million population.
