Billionaire Mark Zuckerberg fortune has increased to $169 billion and is expected to receive $700 million yearly dividend from Meta new shareholder payout of $0.50 per quarter (equivalent to $2 yearly). In January 2024, Mark Zuckerberg (Trust & related entities) sold a total of $428 million of (Facebook) Meta shares in November & December 2023. Mark Zuckerberg (Age 39) currently holds around 13% of Meta shareholding. Mark Zuckerberg & his wife Priscilla Chan had pledged to give 99% of their wealth to philanthropic causes during their lifetime and had founded Chan Zuckerberg Initiative in 2015. Priscilla Chan is co-founder and co-CEO of the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative. As a pediatrician and teacher, Priscilla’s work with patients and students in communities across the Bay Area has informed her desire to make learning more personalized, find new paths to manage and cure disease, and expand opportunity for more people. She is also the founder of The Primary School, which integrates health and education and serves children and families in East Palo Alto and the Belle Haven neighborhood in Menlo Park, California. Priscilla earned her BA in Biology at Harvard University and her MD at University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). She completed her pediatrics training in the UCSF/PLUS Pediatrics Residency.
