The United Kingdom (UK) economy has entered into a recession after 2 straight quarters of decline in GDP with -0.3% in 2023 Q4 and -0.1% in 2023 Q3. The FTSE 100 index which measures 100 companies listed on London Stock Exchange, decreased -0.65 YTD (Year-to-date). The UK economy GDP in 2022 is around £2.5 trillion ($3.1 trillion).
