Switzerland agriculture group Syngenta has cancelled the IPO plan on Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE) to raise $9.1 billion (CNY 65 billion, Initial Public Offering) with $60 billion enterprise value. In 2023, Syngenta had received IPO approval from the Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE) but will still need to get approval from China’s securities regulator to be able to list on Shanghai Stock Exchange. Syngenta Group is one of the world’s biggest agricultural technology companies with more than 57,000 employees, and operating in more than 100 countries.

17th June 2023 – Switzerland agriculture group Syngenta has received approval from the Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE) for its $9.1 billion IPO (CNY 65 billion, Initial Public Offering) with $60 billion enterprise value.
