Top private equity group CVC Capital Partners with $198 billion AUM (Assets under Management) is targeting an IPO on Euronext Amsterdam at $14 billion to $16 billion valuation, and to raise at least $1.3 billion in IPO proceeds (EUR 1.25 billion). As of 31 December 2023, the Group had 1,154 employees (including 510 investment professionals) and managed approximately €186 billion of AUM, across seven complementary investment strategies in Private Equity, Secondaries, Credit and Infrastructure. Since inception in 1981, CVC has delivered consistently strong returns for its clients. For example, as of 31 December 2023, CVC Europe / Americas Funds I-VII had generated a combined weighted average realised gross internal rate of return (“Gross IRR”) of 28% and a combined weighted average realised gross multiple on invested capital (“Gross MOIC”) of 2.9 times and were among the top performing funds within their private equity peers. In February 2024, CVC announced the close of $6.8 billion for CVC 6th Asia fund (Capital Partners Asia VI) to invest in core consumer & services sectors across Asia. CVC Asia platform manages over $21 billion & active in Asia since 1999 and had acquired more than 80 companies in Asia. 28th July 2023 – Top private equity group CVC with $154 billion AUM (Assets under Management) has announced the close of the $28.6 billion (€26 billion, €25 billion target) CVC Capital Partners IX Fund, with strong demand from existing & new institutional investors. In 2020, CVC Capital Partners VIII fund closed at €22.3 billion. CVC had launched Fund IX in January 2023.
