A Titanic 14-carat gold pocket Waltham watch has been sold for a Titanic memorabilia record of $1.48 million (GBP 1.175 million, Aldridge & Son in Devizes). The watch was recovered from the body of the richest man John Jacob Astor in the sank Titanic in 1912.
