Austria billionaire & Chairman of France skincare group L’Occitane International Reinold Geiger has been reported to be making a $6.95 billion offer (EUR 6.5 billion) to privatize the Hong Kong-listed company via his investment holding firm L’Occitane Groupe. L’Occitane International share trading in Hong Kong had been suspended on 9th April 2024, pending announcement on takeover. Reinold Geiger has an estimated personal fortune of $3 billion to $4 billion.
