The ex-Co-CEO Asia of $64 billion hedge fund Millennium Management Jonathan Xiong has launched a Singapore-based $1 billion multi-strategy hedge fund Arrowpoint Investment Partners with anchor investors including Blackstone, Singapore Temasek Subsidiary Seviora Capital & Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPPIB). Arrowpoint Investment Partners is expected to start trading on 1st July 2024, and has more than 50 employees in Singapore & Hong Kong. Jonathan Xiong is the CEO & CIO of Arrowpoint Investment Partners. Jonathan Xiong was at Goldman Sachs for more than 7 years (2011 to 2018) in New York (Managing Director, Senior Portfolio Manager / Head of Fixed Income Alternatives), and joined hedge fund Millennium Management (Co-CEO Asia) in 2018 (left in 2024 January). The firm officially began operation on 1st June 2024. The hedge fund strategy is global discretionary macro, and ex-Millennium Investment Stefan Ericsson had joined as Deputy CIO. The largest hedge fund launched was ExodusPoint Capital Management in 2018 by ex-Millennium Michael Gelband.
