Malaysia billionaire & King Yang di-Pertuan Agong Sultan Ibrahim had placed a $370,000 (MYR 1.75 million) winning bid & Malaysia highest car bid license record for a limited edition car license plate “FFF 1” in the May 2024 auction. Yang di-Pertuan Agong Sultan Ibrahim also owns the previous winning bid record of $317,000 (MYR 1.5 million) in February 2024 for car license plate “GOLD 1”. Yang di-Pertuan Agong Sultan Ibrahim posted on Facebook he hopes the value of the his winning bid will be used by the Malaysia government to help people. In 2024 February, Yang di-Pertuan Agong Sultan Ibrahim (Johor state ruler) become Malaysia 17th King in the new 5-year term starting 31st January 2024, succeeding Pahang ruler Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah. Sultan Ibrahim Iskandar has an estimated personal fortune of around $5.7 billion. Malaysia has a GDP of $407 billion and 34.3 million population.

Biography Of His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, King Of Malaysia Hm Sultan Ibrahim Ibni Almarhum Sultan (Iskandar The Sultan And Sovereign Ruler Of The State And Territory Of Johor Darul Ta’zim Hm)
- Sultan Ibrahim was born as Tunku Ibrahim Ismail on 22nd November 1958 at the Sultanah Aminah Hospital in Johor Bahru, and is the eldest son of Almarhum Sultan Iskandar Ibni Almarhum Sultan Ismail and Almarhumah Enche’ Besar Hajah Khalsom Abdullah.
- His Majesty received his early education at Taman Didikan Kanak-kanak Tunku Ampuan Mariam, before he was enrolled into Sekolah Temenggong Abdul Rahman (1) for primary school.
- His Majesty was then sent to the Trinity Grammar School in Sydney, Australia from 1968- 1970 before returning to Johor Bahru for his secondary education at English College (Maktab Sultan Abu Bakar) from 1971 to 1975. His Majesty also received religious education at Sekolah Agama Ayer Molek in Johor Bahru.
- From an early age, Sultan Ibrahim displayed great character and leadership qualities when undergoing military training to establish the foundations for courage, discipline and resilience required for his role later in life.
- His Majesty began training in the Young Officers Tactical Course at the Malaysian Army Training School (PULADA) in Kota Tinggi where he was made a platoon commander. He later participated in the Young Officers Course at Fort Benning, Georgia in the United States where he also enrolled in Airborne and Ranger courses for infantry officers.
- His Majesty then attended the American Special Forces Green Beret and Pathfinder Course, where he completed 19 parachute jumps, eight of which were executed during the night, earning him the prestigious Green Beret and wings. His Majesty is also recognised as a United States SEAL (sea, air and land) member and an honorary member of the Indonesian Red Beret (KOPASSUS) after making several successful parachute jumps in Bandung, Indonesia.
- On his return to Johor, His Majesty underwent helicopter pilot training with the Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) and received his wings from his father, Sultan Iskandar, at a passing out parade on the 26th of April 1982 where he was the parade commander.
- HM Sultan Ibrahim then underwent training as a Royal Malaysian Navy (RMN) officer for three months at the RMN base in Lumut, Perak, making him a fully trained army, navy and air force officer.
- To complement his military education and to groom him into a just and respectable Ruler, His Majesty continued his quest for knowledge at the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy in Boston, Massachusetts, USA where he completed two courses – Southeast Asian Strategic Studies and International Law of the Seas.
- HM Sultan Ibrahim also served the Johor State Government in several offices where he acquired knowledge on the intricacies of administration and management as a prelude to his role as a Ruler.
- Among the departments where His Majesty served include the State Secretary’s Office, State Treasury, Urban and Rural Planning Department, Forestry Department as well as Agriculture Department.
- HM Sultan Ibrahim was appointed Heir and proclaimed as the Crown Prince on the 3rd of July 1981.
- On the 22nd of September 1982, His Majesty was betrothed to HM Raja Zarith Sofiah Binti Almarhum Sultan Idris Shah of Perak, and they began married life at Istana Pasir Pelangi, Johor Bahru in 1983, after HM Raja Zarith Sofiah graduated from her studies in the United Kingdom.
- The royal couple were blessed with with six children – five princes and one princess.
- Sultan Ibrahim’s deep sense of duty and dedication to his responsibilities are well-ingrained thanks to the guidance of his father, Almarhum Sultan Iskandar as well as the nurturing values passed down from his grandfather, Almarhum Sultan Ismail to groom His Majesty into a revered Ruler.
- From the very beginning of their marriage, His Majesty and HM Raja Zarith Sofiah never thought of their duties to the people as a burden. Instead, they have wholeheartedly embraced their responsibilities to this day, whilst also balancing their commitments to raising their family.
- When Sultan Iskandar was appointed as the 8th Yang di-Pertuan Agong from 25th April 1984 to 25th April 1989, Tunku Ibrahim was made the Regent of Johor, carrying out the duties of a sovereign.
- Upon the demise of his father, Tunku Ibrahim was proclaimed the Sultan of Johor on the 23rd of January 2010, followed by his official coronation on 23rd March 2015.
