The China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) has issued new M&A guidelines (Mergers & Acquisitions) to support emerging & future industries on regulations, procedures, and allowing acquisition of unprofitable asset. Lock-up period for shareholders in private equity funds with above 5-year lifespan to be reduced to 6 months, and lock-up period for small shareholders in restructuring to be reduced to 12 months.
