Indonesia Financial Services Authority (OJK) has ordered P2P (Peer-to-Peer) lending platform Investree to shut down all operations after failing to meet minimum equity requirement of $480,000 (7.5 billion rupiah). Investree was co-founded by ex-Citigroup banker Adrian A Gunadi in 2015, who had resigned as CEO (31/1/24) and admitted wrongdoings to board including transferring funds to personal account. Investree had raised funds of $280 million, and had valuation of around $1 billion to $1.4 billion valuation. In 2023, Investree raised $231 million in Series D funding from JTA International (Qatar) and SBI Holding. In 2022, Investree raised $23.5 million in Series C from MUFG Innovation Partners (MUIP) & BRI Ventures.

2nd February 2024 – Indonesia Peer-to-Peer lending platform (P2P) Investree co-founder & CEO Adrian A Gunadi has resigned (31/1/24) and admitted wrongdoings to board including transferring funds to personal account. Investree Chief of Sales Salman Baharuddin has been appointed as CEO. Investree has raised total funds of $280 million, and has a current valuation of around $1 billion to $1.4 billion valuation.
