Malaysia online fashion retailer FashionValet founders husband & wife Fadzarudin Shah Anuar & Vivy Yusof have been charged in Malaysia court for $1.7 million embezzlement (MYR 8 million). In 2024 November, Malaysia Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim instructed sovereign wealth fund Khazanah Nasional ($18 billion AUM), Permodalan Nasional & related parties to conduct internal audit of $9.9 million (MYR 43.9 million) investment losses in online fashion retailer FashionValet, investing $10.6 million (MYR 47 million) in 2018 and selling shares for $705,000 (MYR 3.1 million) in 2023. The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission has opened an investigation. FashionValet was founded in 2010 by husband & wife Fadzarudin Shah Anuar & Vivy Yusof.
