A Singapore court has sentenced 2 Malaysians to jail for $21 million FX (Foreign Exchange) investment trading fraud with $10 million losses suffered by more than 2,000 investors in 2014 & 2015. The mastermind & Singliworld Managing Director Leong Koon Wan promised 13% return per month, was sentenced to 10 years & 6 months jail and to pay S$3.6 million penalty. Triumph Global, Singliworld HK & Union Market Director Ng Kuan Chuan who earned $300,000, was sentenced to 7 years & 6 months jail and to pay fine of S$300,000. The investors were misled of professional traders trading on their behalf via FX brokerages Triumph Global and Union Markets, which also did not have foreign exchange business licence in Singapore.
