United States internet & communications infrastructure company Zayo Group is in talks to buy Crown Castle for $8 billion. In 2020, Zayo was acquired in a $14.3 billion buyout by Sweden private equity firm EQT ($258 billion AUM) and alternative asset manager DigitalBridge ($88 billion AUM) & real estate investment group Colony NorthStar joint venture Digital Colony Partners.
