United States asset manager Capital Group with $2.8 trillion AUM has hired Goldman Sachs 23-year veteran Pooja Grover Madduri as Managing Director for Enterprise Relationship Management APAC, joining from Goldman Sachs after 23 years in Hong Kong, New York & San Francisco and held senior roles including as Chief of Staff for Executive Office APAC ex-Japan & Asia Pacific Head of Strategic Clients Coverage. Capital Group (26/2/25): “Capital Group, one of the world’s largest and most experienced active investment managers, with more than US$2.8 trillion assets under management, has appointed Pooja Grover Madduri as Managing Director, Enterprise Relationship Management in Asia Pacific, effective Monday. Based in Hong Kong, this newly created role will report to Tim Murphy, Global Head of Enterprise Relationship Management, and Tetsuya Koizumi, Head of Client Group, Asia Pacific. Pooja will drive Capital Group’s work to advance partnerships with global financial institutions and strategic regional firms. She will lead engagement with senior executives across Asia-Pacific with the firm’s key clients. Additionally, her responsibilities will include scaling Capital Group’s strategic initiatives with global and regional clients. Pooja joins from Goldman Sachs where she most recently served as Chief of Staff for the Executive Office in Asia Pacific ex-Japan. Over her 23-year career at the firm, she held multiple leadership roles including Asia Pacific Head of Strategic Clients Coverage, focused on strengthening relationships with institutional clients. Prior to that, she was in the Investment Banking division where she was a member of the Asia Pacific regional leadership team and advised corporate clients on strategic and financing transactions. 12th November 2024 – United States asset manager Capital Group with $2.8 trillion AUM has hired Wellington 17-year veteran Marketa Dvorak as Managing Director of Global Financial Institutions (GFI) APAC. Marketa Dvorak has 20 years of financial industry experience at JP Morgan, including 17 years at Wellington Management and last held the role of Head of Southeast Asia (Global Wealth Management Group). Capital Group (12/11/24): “Capital Group, one of the world’s largest active asset managers with over US$2.8 trillion in assets under management, has appointed Marketa Dvorak as Managing Director, Global Financial Institutions (GFI) in Asia Pacific. Based in Singapore, Marketa will report to Nick Shaw, Head of Client Group, Global Financial Institutions, who oversees GFI operations in both Asia and Europe from London. Marketa will deepen and expand Capital Group’s relationships with major financial institutions based across Asia Pacific. Her responsibilities will include working with local client groups to cultivate partnerships with global and regional distributors, ensure Capital Group’s initiatives are aligned with each partner’s strategic objectives and support clients in the region with value-added services beyond investing. Marketa brings over 20 years of experience in asset management and investment banking. She began her career at JPMorgan in London before joining Wellington Management, where she spent eight years in their London office. Marketa relocated to Singapore in 2015 to build out Wellington’s Wealth business in Asia Pacific. Most recently, she was the firm’s Head of Southeast Asia, Global Wealth Management Group, responsible for strategic partnerships with Global Financial Intermediaries and leading regional banks.” In 2024 August, Capital Group hired Fidelity International Stella Xu as Head of Institutional Business for Greater China.

Stella Xu joins from Fidelity International (Head of Institutional Sales for China & Hong Kong), and has 19 years of asset management industry experience at BlackRock, PIMCO & Fidelity International. Based in Hong Kong, Stella Xu reports to Toby Chan, Capital Group Head of Client Group for Greater China.
