China Shenzhen is planning to setup a $6.9 billion (CNY 50 billion) state-owned technology fund to invest in sectors including AI (Artificial Intelligence) & robotics. Earlier in 2025 March, China is planning to launch a $138 billion (CNY 1 trillion) 20-year national venture capital fund to invest in innovative technology companies including in artificial intelligence, quantum computing, green energy & biotechnology, with the funds to be raised from local governments & private capital.
