Singapore Exchange (SGX) has announced the appointment of Jean-Philippe Male as Head FX (1/4/24), succeeding Lee Beng Hong (Head of Wholesale Markets & Platforms) who has resigned. Jean-Philippe Male is co-founder & CEO of OTC platform BidFX, which was acquired by SGX in 2020. SGX Group CTO Thijs Jacobs has also resigned with responsibilities covered by Chief Information Officer (CIO) Tinku Gupta. In 2025 February, Singapore Exchange (SGX) reported Securities Daily Volume of $773 million (S$1.04 billion) in 2025 January, and listed ETFs AUM increasing +25% in the last 12 months to a record $9.8 billion (S$13.3 billion) in 2025 January.
