Billionaires in the World Now Hold Combined Wealth of US$7.7 trillion

The 3rd edition of Wealth X report indicates there are now a total of 2473 billionaires in the world. This represents a combined US$7.7 trillion. The figures show an increase of 5.4% increase since 2014. Asia now leads all regions in growth of both billionaire population and wealth at 15.2% and 19.6% respectively.

Wealth X defines UHNW individuals as having at least $30 million in personal wealth and billionaires as having a net worth of US$1 billion or more.
