Standard Chartered Makes Senior Hires for Private Bank and Wealth Management Team

Standard Chartered has made recent hires for its Greater China and North Asia (GCNA) Private Bank. Harry Lai, who was previously at Barclays has been made Market Head of GCNA. Two other Market Heads for GNCA were hired earlier in August 2016.

The Market Heads report to Vivian Chan who was appointed as Regional Head of Private Banking for GNCA last July. Her role officially starts on 6th January this year. The new appointments are targetted towards driving the Ultra High Net Worth client business.
