BNP Paribas Hires Private Banking Veteran Ruth Chung from Pictet as Greater China Market Head

BNP Paribas Wealth Management has hired Pictet & UBS private banking veteran Ruth Chung as Greater China Market Head with immediate effect in a newly created role. Ruth Chung will be responsible for leading the Greater China market from Singapore, and Taiwan offshore teams out of Hong Kong & Singapore. Ruth Chung has more than 30 years of industry experience, joining from Pictet Private Bank where she was the Market Group Head of Greater China and had over 20 years of experience in UBS (leadership roles Taiwan, China, Greater China). Ruth had also previously co-founded Sino Suisse Capital, an external asset management firm where she was the CEO of the Singapore office.
