Deutsche Private Bank has hired 19-year Credit Suisse veteran Serene Wee as Managing Director & Senior Client Partner for Southeast Asia Wealth Management, joining ex-Credit Suisse colleague Johanes Oeni (now Deutsche Bank Head of International Private Bank Southeast Asia) and now Deutsche Bank Head of International Private Bank APAC Jin Yee Young (former Credit Suisse Deputy CEO Wealth Management APAC, 20 years at Credit Suisse) who started her role at Deutsche Bank in January 2023. Deutsche Bank: “Serene Wee will focus on delivering tailor-made wealth management solutions to Ultra-High-Net- Worth (UHNW) clients in South-East Asia, including family offices, trusts, foundations, and entrepreneurs across the region. Serene joined Deutsche Bank from Credit Suisse where she spent 19 years focusing on the UHNW client segment. Prior to that, she worked as a relationship manager at BNP Paribas, and was a treasury trader with The Royal Bank of Scotland Singapore Branch.

Deutsche Private Bank has hired 19-year Credit Suisse veteran Serene Wee as Managing Director & Senior Client Partner for Southeast Asia Wealth Management.
Deutsche Bank: Serene Wee will focus on delivering tailor-made wealth management solutions to Ultra-High-Net- Worth (UHNW) clients in South-East Asia, including family offices, trusts, foundations, and entrepreneurs across the region. Serene joined Deutsche Bank from Credit Suisse where she spent 19 years focusing on the UHNW client segment. Prior to that, she worked as a relationship manager at BNP Paribas, and was a treasury trader with The Royal Bank of Scotland Singapore Branch.
Serene holds a Bachelor of Arts and Social Sciences (Economics) from the National University of Singapore as well as a Master of Business Administration from Macquarie University. She is fluent in English and Mandarin, as well as other dialects including Hakka, Hokkien and Cantonese.

31st January 2023 – Deutsche Bank has hired Credit Suisse & JP Morgan veteran Johanes Oeni as Head of International Private Bank Southeast Asia (April 2023), joining Deutsche Bank Head of International Private Bank APAC Jin Yee Young (former Credit Suisse Deputy CEO Wealth Management APAC, 20 years at Credit Suisse) who started her role at Deutsche Bank in January 2023.
Johanes Oeni has over 31 years of Wealth Management & Private Banking experience including at Credit Suisse (Indonesia & Malaysia), JP Morgan and Banque Indosuez. Jin Yee Young has over 25 years of Private Banking & Wealth Management experience including Credit Suisse, DBS Private Bank & Citibank. At Credit Suisse, Jin Yee Young had held numerous leadership roles including Deputy CEO WM APAC, Head of WM for Singapore, Deputy CEO Singapore & CEO for SymAsia Foundation, Market Group Head for Singapore & Malaysia and South Asia Switzerland, and Indonesia, Taiwan, China, Hong Kong & Japan. Lok Yim, who had led Deutsche Bank as Head of Wealth Management and International Private Bank APAC businesses for 6 years, will focus on his role as Chief Executive Officer of Deutsche Bank HKSAR.
