Credit Suisse has won a $86 million lawsuit (UK court) filed by former Credit Suisse banker (Vadim Benyatov, Head of European Emerging Markets Energy Sector) for lost earnings after his conviction & jail, being arrested in 2006 for Romania Privatization deals and convicted for alleged espionage & as a member of organized criminal group. Vadim Benyatov had claimed that he was wrongly convicted while doing the business for Credit Suisse. The UK court roles that the employer cannot be liable for if the employee suffers as a result of his work. Vadim Benyatov had earned $541,000 (GBP 450,000) yearly before he was arrested alongside 2 colleagues in 2006.
