Aviva Investors with $271 billion AUM (Assets under Management) has hired Aldersgate climate & green finance expert Nick Molho as Aviva Investors Head of Climate Policy to deliver stewardship programme and transition to Net Zero (Role to start in June 2023). Aviva Investors: “Aviva Investors’ macro stewardship programme focuses on engagement with governments, policymakers and other key stakeholders to correct market failures on sustainability issues. It complements the asset manager’s corporate governance activities which relate to engagement at a corporate level and influencing the companies and physical assets the business invests in.” Nick Molho joins from Aldersgate Group (Executive Director), a cross-economy membership organisation focused on accelerating the UK’s transition towards a competitive, resource efficient and net zero emissions economy. Nick Molho will report to Steve Waygood, who is Aviva Investors Chief Responsible Investment Officer. Nick Molho joins from Aldersgate Group (Executive Director), a cross-economy membership organisation focused on accelerating the UK’s transition towards a competitive, resource efficient and net zero emissions economy. At the Aldersgate Group, Nick led the overall strategic direction, work programme and policy advocacy activities of the Group for the last eight years, covering all key areas of climate and environmental policy, as well as green finance.
