The China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) is planning to set a limit on commissions at 15% paid by fund management firms to brokerages with current fees as high as 30% of annual fees. The new fee proposal will impact fund managers with more than CNY 1 billion AUM (Assets under Management). China has 144 registered mutual fund managers (Oct 2023).
