Russia citizen Feliks Medvedev has pleaded guilty to money laundering charges in the United States (February 2024), buying $65 million of physical gold bullion from a private company in Singapore (Singapore Precious Metals Exchange), and operating an unlicenced remittance business in the United States executing $150 million in 1,300 transactions. The funds were being used to support Russia invasion of Ukraine.
