The Hong Kong Private Wealth Management Association (PWMA) has elected 12 Executive Committee Members for the 2024/2025 term (AGM on 24/5/24), with UBS Amy Lo elected as Chair, Citibank Horace Yip as Vice Chair. The other 10 Executive Committee Members are HSBC Gabriel Tam, Standard Chartered Bank Peter Tung, JP Morgan Ernest Ho, Goldman Sachs Nick Yim, BNP Paribas Lemuel Lee, Deutsche Bank Kanas Chan, Bank of China Edmund Kam, Bank of Singapore Rickie Chan, Julius Baer David Shick & Pictet Alex Ng. Private Wealth Management Association (PWMA): “The Private Wealth Management Association (PWMA) held its Annual General Meeting (“AGM”) on May 24, 2024. The AGM is an important annual event which provides an opportunity for members to review the Association’s initiatives and achievements over the past year. A new Executive Committee was elected to lead the Association for the 2024-2025 term … … During the AGM, Ms. Lo highlighted key achievements of the PWMA during 2023. The Association made good progress in attracting new members and will continue to target to grow its membership base and to increase value for members and the broader industry. Some of the key initiatives for 2024 includes a review of PWMA’s membership, talent development initiatives through PWMA’s education and training efforts, expanding PWMA’s accreditation program, technology and governance initiatives. We wish to thank our members for all their invaluable support and participation in the Association’s work. PWMA plays a vital role in positioning Hong Kong as the leading private wealth management hub, advocating for industry growth, promoting professional conduct and integrity, and serving as a unified voice for dialogue with regulators and stakeholders. With the new Executive Committee in place, the Association is well-positioned to continue driving initiatives that support the development of Hong Kong’s wealth management sector and further strengthen Hong Kong’s position as an International Financial Centre.”
