JP Morgan Asset Management has appointed 11-year veteran Supreet Bhan as Head of Intermediary Business Hong Kong (1/4/25) and with Anis Tiasiri succeeding Supreet Bhan as Head of Southeast Asia Funds. Supreet Bhan has around 20 years of asset management industry experience at JP Morgan & DSP BlackRock, joining JP Morgan Asset Management in 2013. Supreet Bhan reports to Elisa Ng, JP Morgan Asset Management Hong Kong CEO. Anis Tiasiri has 15 years of asset management industry & investment experience at JP Morgan, HSBC & TISCO Financial Group, joining JP Morgan Asset Management 10 years ago in 2015. Anis Tiasiri reports to Ayaz Ebrahim, JP Morgan Asset Management Singapore & Southeast Asia CEO. In 2023 December, JP Morgan Asset Management appointed Ayaz Ebrahim as CEO of Singapore & Southeast Asia, succeeding Sherene Ban who is appointed as JP Morgan Asset Management Head of Continental Europe Institutional.

15th December 2023 – JP Morgan Asset Management has appointed Ayaz Ebrahim as CEO of Singapore & Southeast Asia, succeeding Sherene Ban who is appointed as JP Morgan Asset Management Head of Continental Europe Institutional. Ayaz Ebrahim joined JP Morgan Asset Management in 2015, and is currently Portfolio Manager & Co-Head of APAC regional team Emerging Markets and Asia Pacific (EMAP) Equities team. Ayaz Ebrahim has 34 years of industry experience including leadership roles at Amundi, HSBC & Deutsche Bank. In his new role, Ayaz Ebrahim reports to JP Morgan Asset Management APAC CEO Dan Watkins and Anuj Arora Head Emerging Markets and APAC (EMAP) Equities.
JP Morgan Asset Management Appoints Portfolio Manager Ayaz Ebrahim as CEO of Singapore & Southeast Asia
Ayaz Ebrahim, Managing Director, is a portfolio manager and the co-head of the Asia Pacific Regional team within the Emerging Markets and Asia Pacific (EMAP) Equities team based in Hong Kong. He also chairs the Asia Pacific Asset Allocation Committee. Before joining J.P. Morgan Asset Management in September 2015, Ayaz was previously with Amundi Hong Kong where he spent more than five years as the CIO of Asia ex-Japan equities and Deputy Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Prior to that Ayaz was the CIO, Asia Pacific, for both HSBC Global Asset Management and Deutsche Asset Management. From 1991 to 2002, he worked at Crédit Agricole Asset Management Hong Kong (now named Amundi Hong Kong Limited), initially as an investment manager and subsequently as CIO for Asia. Ayaz holds a Doctorate degree in Civil Law (DCL) and a Bachelor of Science degree (Honours) in Accountancy from the University of East Anglia in the U.K.
