Morgan Stanley has launched a futures company in China with headquarters in Beijing. Morgan Stanley Futures (China) provides brokerage services for China onshore commodity futures. In 2024 November, the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) has approved Morgan Stanley licence to setup a wholly-owned futures business in China. Also in 2024 November, Morgan Stanley has opened a new Southeast Asia headquarters in Singapore at IOI Central Boulevard Towers (21/11/24), with the opening ceremony attended by Morgan Stanley CEO Ted Pick, Asia CEO Gokul Laroia & Monetary Authority of Singapore Managing Director Leong Sing Chiong. Morgan Stanley has presence in Singapore since 1990 (34 years ago), and has 3 offices in Southeast Asia (Jakarta, Bangkok & Manila).
