The United States has announced the withdrawal from United Nations developing countries climate transition financing group Just Energy Transition Partnership (JETP), which was launched in 2021 during COP26 (UN Climate Change Conference in Glasgow) with $8.5 billion financing to South Africa. In 2022, $20 billion was pledged to Indonesia & $15.5 billion was pledged to Vietnam.
