Amazon ($2 trillion market value) has lost the Luxembourg appeal of $812 million fine (€746 million) imposed for breaching Europe General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The appeal was dismissed by a Luxembourg court and fine was imposed by the Luxembourg National Commission for Data Protection (CNPD) in 2021.
