Ex-BSI Banker Sentenced to 54 Months in Jail
Yeo Jiawei has admitted to charges including money laundering and played a role in transactions involving 1MDB and made secret profits on the side. The latest sentence handed to the banker will mean that Yeo faces a total of 84 months in jail after he was sentenced to 30 months jail for trying to hamper investigations.

His admission of guilt came after the Monetary Authority of Singapore wrapped up a two-year probe into flows related to 1MDB.
