Mercer Appoints New Hong Kong CEO Christina Wong for Private Client Services

Mercer Private Client Services (PCS), a market leader in providing risk management, has appointed Christina Wong as CEO for Hong Kong with effect from 11th October 2021. Christina, who has more than 20 years of experience and most recently was HSBC Life Head of Third Party & Private Banking Distribution, will lead the sales team to secure new partnerships and manage existing relationships with private banking partners and carriers across North Asia. Based in Hong Kong, Christina will report to Mercer Private Client Services Group CEO Joseph Low.

With over 20 years of experience in the insurance and banking industry, Ms Wong was most recently the Head of Third Party and Private Banking Distribution at HSBC Life. She was instrumental in the growth of its high net worth client segment and achieving wealth model synergies across the HSBC Group. Prior to this, she held similar leadership roles at Transamerica Life Bermuda, MetLife and Zurich International Life.
